Hatchmark is a habit tracker built around a simple promise: your data stays on your device, and we collect nothing. This policy explains exactly what that means.
Hatchmark is published by Taropa Paul-Casian PFA (trading as Taro's Studios), a sole proprietorship registered in Romania (reg. F2026025474002, CUI RO54690112). For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this is the data controller — though, as described below, Hatchmark does not actually collect any personal data. None. Hatchmark does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.
Everything you create in Hatchmark — your habits, their names, colors, emoji, and your daily completion and planning history — is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your phone and is never sent to us or to any third party. We have no servers that receive your data, and we cannot see it.
Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in full control. You can erase everything at any time from Settings → Reset all data inside the app, or by deleting the app, which removes all associated data.
Hatchmark contains no advertising, no third-party SDKs for tracking or analytics, and makes no network requests to share your information. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store; any data Apple collects as the distributor is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Hatchmark does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes (for example, when new features are added in a future version), the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
